Mr. Sadana spent many years with India’s oil major, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation and served in many leadership roles and in setting up the startup operations of the prestigious giant Bombay High Offshore Production to become its first Field Production Superintendent. Moving on to the international assignments in other Oil Majors of US and Middle East worked in Libya, Qatar in the Middle East.

He has extensive worldwide Onshore Offshore experience in Oil Field Operations, Drilling of deep oil gas wells, Commissioning, Project/Process Engineering, Tendering, QA/QC, Projects Coordination & Management, Marketing Functions, Pipelines Terminals, Tanker operations, Complex Contracts Development, Oil Property Evaluations, Strategy Planning and Multidisciplinary Functions. Having worked in highly visible leadership positions Mr. Sadana had been instrumental in many strategic changes, setting up special strategic Task Force cells recruiting Engineers, consultants worldwide to manage running Plants renovation challenges, managing huge multi-million-dollar projects and multidisciplinary teams. Has the distinction of setting up unique practices to live monitor and repair corrosion impacted huge oil, gas process plants and pipelines –saving hundreds of millions of $s.

Has excellent communication skills, acumen, understanding of techno-legal commercial matters. Amongst major highlights have been guiding negotiations and developing intricate International Oil Companies multi Party Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Sharing EPSA/DPSA Agreements and development of a special Partial Operating Agreements POA and Lifting Procedures etc. between QP, Occidental Petroleum, Elf Petroleum, Maersk Oil, QPD Japan etc. Oil Spill Management Agreements, contributed in GAOCMAO and Regional Conference themes.

Doing all this, has won several prestigious awards and citations throughout his career. Mr. Sadana has published many technical papers and presented in many forums. Mr. Sadana was also the Joint Director of Oil Coordination Committee responsible for planning for Oil/Products imports to India on countrywide basis. Has been very active in sports, winning prizes in Golf, Tennis, game of Bridge etc.
